So I finally got around to trying my hand at watch photography, and I'm thoroughly impressed by how well these shots came out on my 5 year old point and shoot...
For your viewing pleasure.
I love the texture on the dial and I think this photo captures it pretty well, looks absolutely gorgeous in person, and isn't quite as overstated as the picture makes it look.
Another from the front, been worn as a daily watch at my job(retail so lots of moving things, dings and such are unavoidable, however most of the imperfections are really just fingerprints/in need of a nice wipe down). Still I think this looks beautiful, clean lines, unassuming, but eye catching when you notice it.
Exhibition back! (perhaps my pride and joy of the shots I ended up taking, I think this came out fantastically. The Blued screws matching the blue writing on the rotor work wonderfully, absolutely gorgeous. And I believe this is the ETA 2824-2 movement as it is labeled 25 jewels? Anyways a real beauty, and always nice to see peoples reactions when they turn the watch over and see the exhibition back (not to mention the joy I get when I have some time of my own to stare).
Lastly a couple more are up over here....

Excellent movement shot. You had more success with that than I have... Thanks for posting - it motivates me to keep trying.

Nice. Liking that movement shot and the close up of the face shows the detail off to a tee.
