C40 with interesting strap choice

Post by mickarthur »

Not sure if anyone's tried the Tri-Tech strap with the C40 yet. I think it compliments the C40 nicely. If you didn't know the strap was a dive strap, when paired with the C40 it has an auto racing feel to it. Happy Friday!

Yeah, that does work, strangely enough. :)

I like that, interesting and chunky! This might be of interest too - here's mine with the lovely C700 silicon strap:

That is a great looking strap! I might just order one of these! Is it pretty "chunky" itself? Comfortable?

Oh it's very chunky, if it's chunky you like then you won't be disappointed I promise! And it's got the lovely new buckle that comes on the C11 strap. Its as comfortable as any strap I've known.

Based on your photo, I'm gonna order myself the c600 silicon strap now-it will rotate between my C6 diver and the C40 (although I hardly wear the C40 to be honest, I just like looking at it at home!! Sad eh?)

The c40 is a nice watch to admire even if you are not wearing it. I was thinking about ordering the Ticino pilot chronograph with the hand winding movement just to see it in action http://forums.watchuseek.com/f71/ticino ... 41705.html even if it doesn't get much wrist time.

I think the C700 may be my next purchase along with a winder. That C8 vintage is killer too. Any pics of yours out there?

Agreed all round mickarthur! Nice just to see a tiny 'machine' at work.

As requested,hHere's one I took a while ago, haven't uploaded it as I'm not really that happy with the dusty old T-Shirt I put it on. I need to do a proper photo session with all of mine at some point.

Anyway, I love the C8 - so timeless. The PVD one makes my mouth water.....
