New forum-style

Post by Hans »

I did some maintenance on the forum (upgraded to the latest php-release), and changed to a new style, use the poll for feedback!

And as always, I'm open for feedback and suggestions!

Cheers,

Hans

I like the new look Hans. Although, it's kind of confined to the middle third of the page for me. I have my monitor set to 1600X1200 for other purposes though. Not sure if it's this way for everyone.

I think it's better than the gray though. Hopefully links will stand out better.

As usual, good job Hans.

Thanks El Tiempo. I guess most people nowadays use resolutions > 800x600, so I made the forum a bit more wide, it's now 880 pixels (was 780 before). Hope this is somewhat better.

Looks great to me ,....the unoficial ,...oficial CW webforum ;),.....

Somehow it seems to load faster then the old forum. In my case I am on ADSL but still on a relic comp, so compliments, Hans

Is it a suggestion to make a nice pic covered link directly to the CW site ?
maybe a small target in your lead pic itself ?,....like the logo ?....or the heart of the dial ?

Looks great Hans. Does it help to keep down spam as well?

Thanks David! The spam-issues I solved earlier by implementing extra security-questions during registration on this forum. And that works quite well, because I haven't seen any spam-accounts since then. :)
