CW page formatting error: new Dune GMT

Post by thomcat00 »

@Kip

I wasn’t sure where to post this, so here goes. There is overlaid text at the top of the page when I view the new White Sand GMT. In the black bar at the top of the page where multiple messages in white text appear it seems two or more may have been displayed in the same space at the same time. Screen cap attached. This happens with both Safari and Edge on my phone. I appreciate it is not a Forum issue but a CW issue.

And at the bottom, there is a description error of fact, not formatting. The new Dune GMT doesn’t appear to have a split inner ring on the dial like the LE did showing two different colors. The LE had a black and sand bi-color 24 hour inner bezel. The new GMT appears sage green only. Unless I’m misunderstanding the “half covered” text.

Interesting observations.

I think the overlaid messages, in the black header bar, are a function of the browsers you are using.

Looking at the same page on my Android phone, in either Firefox or Chrome, there are three messages that roll through one after the other. These are the three messages that are seen in the same header in a web browser on my Laptop.

As to the 'description error' of the bezel in the listing, my suggestion would be to email Customer Service; you could also mention the the header rendering as well.
