Can anyone tell the difference? I can't.

I like the brushed metal look of Aluminoid, and the look of it is not to distracting, but if anybody has a better suggestion for a phpbb style, I'm open for suggestions.

I get the brushed effect on both settings. I tried both Firefox and IE but it's virtually the same thing. I like the look. I was just checking out some of the features and was curious.

Just figured it out: you get the same look for both styles because Aluminoid is the default style, and the forum-option "override user-style" is active. So whatever you choose, you'll always get Aluminoid...

Well, I made some customizations on the aluminoid style, so before activating other styles I will have to make the same customizations to those styles... So for now I'm afraid we will have to do with this style, but in the future, who knows...

O.k., for now I'll leave it like this.. But I'm still open for any other suggestions for improvement.
