Any further update on numbers? (I’ll be honest I’m after any crumb of related info to sustain me as we wait!)

Well, considering the last FLE before this was in 2017, the next year model might not exactly be right around the corner

It's time for a new year update, I think. :)

CW have now been through the pre-sale process with everyone who sent their details to Kip last month. We have secured 42 sales at this point, which is excellent.

The production process has started, the initial stage of which is to produce a sample dial for the Design Group to check over to ensure it is as expected and we are happy with it. Once we do that, then the process for the bulk production of the dials and casebacks will commence, followed by assembly of the watches and the rest of the manufacturing process.

Whilst we are waiting for the sample dial, we thought we would see if anyone else would like to sign-up for one of these Forum Limited Edition watches. In particular, we have seen a lot of new members join recently who may be interested. Or there may be others who regret missing out on the initial order window. It would be good to see if we could get the limited edition up to, say, 50 watches if possible. This doesn't hold up any timescales for anyone who has ordered already, so seems a sensible thing to do. The current best estimate for delivery remains as April/May.

Details of the watch and the price are set out in the initial post of this thread. However, here is a gratuitous repeat image of the watch, for anyone not familiar: :)

If you are interested in signing up for one of these watches, please PM or email Kip as soon as possible, stating your name and email address.

Please note that we can no longer accommodate serial number requests/preferences at this stage - these will be allocated for any new orders once sales are taken.

Once we receive several new expressions of interest, we will pass the details to CW who will then contact people individually to formally take your pre-order and payment. As a reminder, payment is required in full at the time of pre-order.

If anyone has any questions, please post them in this thread and I, or one of the Design Team, will try to answer them.

[I have got to stop going on CW/CWF before things really get out-of-hand!] So a question: Can I assume the bracelet on the FLE 2023 is the "standard" C63 Sealander stainless steel bracelet that would fit my just-purchased C63 GMT? Not that I might use that to rationalize an additional, unplanned purchase... :problem:

I like the idea of a LE of 42. As we know it is the answer to the meaning of life, the universe and everything!!

Congrats! The C63 will be majorly different than a sundial. I think you'll end up liking it a lot better though.

I joined the forum today as I’m interested in buying a 36mm C63 until I saw this beauty. Shame it’s not 36mm though as I prefer a metal bracelet and the CW male end link extends the lug to lug distance a little too much for me.

I saw a watch recently with a similar heavy ring as part of the dial design. I think it had crosshairs. It said it had a bullseye dial.
Does this FLE have a bullseye dial or am I applying that term wrongly??
