Oh, i hoped for no-logo dial...

downer wrote:The logo question has been discussed in the FLEC and with CW.

Quite understandably, CW wants the 2013 FLE to use the new logo. Frankly, any other decision would have been a strange one...

So, we will use the new logo, and I think the topic is closed.

hope is gone :(

But... do the crowns on newer designs still have the older markings? I assume so as I cant see the nee logo fitting!

As far as I can tell, crowns still have the old CW (w within C) logo. There is a new version of that, with different font and spacing. I presume the crowns will gradually migrate to the new version...

However, my comment about the logo was referring to the main dial logo, rather than anything else. :)

It would seem that the poll results preclude my desire for a JH based FLE. Maybe next time!

I'm still curious to see what the results of this will all be.

Not at £450.

I think we are all curious. A totally different experience from the last 2 FLEs (I wasn't about for the first 2).

I voted for quartz to see something different, a FLE Chrono. Also to give those who sit on the fence and who are not sure what to do, or possibly don't have the confidence to vote against the consensus, a slim chance.

However, I will be happy with an auto though I'm not sure I want a hand wound for the 'sports' watch (whatever that is)!

You never know - everyone might change their mind if someone could post a mock up of a superb chrono in the LE discussion thread :)
Cheers,
Andrew

Until the fat lady sings "highway"? I don't know that one, how does the tune go? ;-)
