fitting trident bracelet

Post by Wintersports »

I have a Ward bracelet that is from my C7 mk2 - now on a rubber strap. Anyway... trying to fit to my 43mm trident and.... given up.

Help..

1. There are some suggestions here that the spring bars need to be curved, is that the case? It's fiddly fitting to the C7 but do-able with straight ones.

2. Any other hints?

FWIW I've spring bar removal fork tools and usually have no issues flipping bracelets on my Breitling, Tag etc - so i ve a feeling I am missing something.

The end links are completely different I'm afraid hence why it won't fit.

It's the position of the holes for the springbars.

I have purchased both C7 and C60 shoulders from CWHQ in the past give I would suggest giving them a call.

Emailed them. If not I ll probably move it on as I was hoping to flip between strap and bracelet. Less attractive just on the strap

Was that recently? Just spoken with them [and unless I asked the wrong question] it was a definite no.

Was a little while ago now as Wera (former head of customer services) was still there.

Ah reading between the lines things less good now.

Any recommends as a contact - I only spoke to the lady answering the phone, she put me on hold and then in effect said 'they say no'.

I flagged that it had been mentioned here as a possiblity, but to be honest I might as well have been speaking Polish

I was also given a resounding "no" when it came to buying just the end links fairly recently.
