Looking good.

I think a plain black strap would not work but the Tiber, with its small flashes of stitching to set off the indices, does.

£15 well spent.

In the meantime, the Protochrono for today.

Cheers Guy, I bought the chestnut one aswell so now have all 3 colour Tibers for the C8. I know the C8 isn't for everyone, but I find it such a versatile watch. I love it, and it wears so comfortable. The Protochrono looking as stunning as ever. For all the different straps you've tried on it, I still think it just 'belongs' on the bracelet

After wearing my TAG Chrono for about 4 weeks I changed to this on Friday morning, hence the date of 9.

It's just over 3 years old now, still in great condition and accuracy is fine for me. I don't normally worry about seconds but thought I'd check how good it's been over 3 days and it's running 15 seconds fast.

^^^the Trident is just such a good looking watch, I can't really think of any of the colour combinations that don't look lovely. It's a bit like a supermodel who would look gorgeous even in a baggy old tracksuit.

This one today for a trip to the Showroom so I could compare the Scooter blue against the new Trident Blue.

Image

And the 2 together - quality is not great as the Showroom lighting is subdued like a living room.
Image

The new blue is a nice shade. The bezel on the Scooter is lighter/brighter partly I think because it's metal whereas the ceramic makes it deeper/darker. The dials are quite different shades - the Scooter is a brighter blue.

The other noticeable difference - the Scooter looks smaller.

Nice ... that's a vintage chrono yeh? And if so, a prototype I assume.

Looks great. Didn't even realise one existed.
