Sounds as expected Patrick.

It certainly seems the case that since Rolex nailed their colours to the mast of +2/-2 seconds per day the watches are even more accurate. I have been wearing one for about 50% of the time since last Sunday - currently indicating a cumulative 1.5 seconds slow.

Over a three week period during Christmas and new year, I kept one running and wore it every day, in conjunction with other watches. I gave up and admitted defeat after three weeks, as it was running spot on. At no point during the period was it ever off more than +1/-1, depending on the pattern of wear during each day. :)

I seem to remember that scooter did a test with his Submariner after it was serviced and regulated and it came out a cumulative 1 second slow - after 40 days!

I don't have all the funky timing stuff, but my DeepSea was set against a radio G shock at Christmas, has been on a winder since, and on reading this thread, I checked it this morning.......

Against the G-shock now, it appears to be about 2 seconds fast, which isn't bad for a month. Image

^^^Nick, Neil. Good to get additional confirmation that Rolex is reassuringly accurate, as well as reassuringly expensive

My Damasko DK15 (In house movement with EPS-spring) consistently runs at around +3 secs per day and, having demagnetised it last Sunday and checked just now, my Valjoux 7750 powered C60 Protochrono is also sitting at +3 secs per day.

That will do me.

^^^they are a fine pair of watches Guy. In general I think most people seem to find their Tridents accurate to 3-4 seconds per day which is pretty impressive.

A 60 year old UG Polerouter I had once ran for 30 days and was clocked in at +3 s! Admittedly I did place it in different positions at night to slow it down or speed it up as need be, but still.

Some brilliant results here, and it is great to see watches performing so well.

My Tank has now been running since January 7, worn most days but with the occasional day in the box or on the winder. It hasn’t been reset or wound manually. It is currently showing -2 seconds. Mostly accounted for by the tendency to lose a second or two on the winder. I shall keep it going.
