New leather C2/C20 straps available

Post by Clach77 »

Sorry if this has been posted before and I’ve missed it, but new straps are now on the CWL site. Oak leather in black or brown. £55.

Great news for those that have been waiting for the these.

Frustrating that the picture doesn't show the full strap (as most online strap retailers do).

New leather C2/C20 straps available

Post by gaf1958 »

Typical of CW not to do so. You can’t tell if the strap has straight ends, curved ends or ... now ... notched ends... it’s about time they rectified this...

Why do they do this?! So ridiculous. Its like just showing a picture of the caseback of a watch and expecting you to buy it.

It's good that they have made these available for the C2/C20.

Yes it's daft that the website images of straps don't show the strap ends. But at least with this one everyone looking to buy is likely to know that it's "straight ends notched" - otherwise it wouldn't fit! :)

Side question, which of the straps are suitable for a C60? I am gearing up to buy a C60 with bracelet, but want a back-up leather strap (or rubber) which will give a new impetus when I may start to get bored!

Any 22mm straight end strap will fit the C60.

Thanks for posting not seen that they had brought them back and nice to see they have a buckle instead of butterfly clasp.
What length are they ?

^^^^^^
- welcome back Scrogg :)

- strap looks good

- shame that the standard CW strap is not the more usual 120/80, than 125/95

Looks very good I have to say.
