CW watch design suggestions
Re: CW watch design suggestions
Would somebody please bring me up to date? The logos have been going around so fast that I have lost track and no longer know who is on which lap.

Re: CW watch design suggestions
Take your pick man... I *think* the left justified at 9 is the default but if there is no space due to the layout of the dial then it's centered at 12. These mock-ups are, I think, wishful thinking. CW seems to be determined to go for the least popular option... (guess which one that is).Psalty wrote:Would somebody please bring me up to date? Re: CW watch suggestions
That logo in the above picture just looks so out of place.. Why Christopher, why??
No date and the logo in the right place.
How about a blue version?

Just get rid of it entirely...nordwulf wrote:

That flag logo on the dial just doesn't look right either.
I wish I could start my own Nordwulf Watch Company and manufacture CW homages..
The CW watches are great but need a better brand name and logo.

Ha, those would have to be some very competitively prices watches.nordwulf wrote:That flag logo on the dial just doesn't look right either.

I'll just use an MSRP of 10 times the cost of the watch and then have a perpetual 50% off sale.Mikkei4 wrote:PM me when you have your 50% off sale.

Some good looking designs there Nordwulf.
The one with the flag could possibly work if the logo was a little smaller.

Re: CW watch design suggestions
I just want to say that while I respect nordwulf's admiration for new CW ideas, as well as his photoshopping skills, I can't see CW actually using any of these suggestions.
They have their own agenda, and their own path that they keep close to the chest until they reveal it. I believe their future plans are probably all set in store; by this point. Also, while the Trident is selling great, it doesn't seem the C65 has quite caught on yet. I doubt they'll bring in a new type until the current model shows some profit.
Lastly, it seems the left-side logo is staying put; for the foreseeable future.

Reasons are probably 43mm is too big and 38mm is too small. Uninspiring logo and weird placement, empty dial, especially the 43mm. Only flat black and white. It's a just very dull design and looks like a fashion watch. But it is marketed as a dress watch and not adventure sport watch. Just wish there was more choice than just the C60.Devarika Woulf wrote:Also, while the Trident is selling great, it doesn't seem the C65 has quite caught on yet. And this is not just me, many others on this and other forums and blogs feel the same. But we're not designers and marketeers, just consumers who don't know what we should like. But yes, it's their company and they are making watches for the 99% of customers that are not watch enthusiasts.
And I don't expect them to use any of these or even look in this thread. Just having some fun in designing the elusive perfect daily wearer that nobody seems to make.
