C61 Trident

Post by Memcdowe »

I got this in a trade a month or so back and absolutely love it. It is my first CW but another is on the way! I'm also looking to add a red bezel 43mm C60 to the collection when the opportunity arrises! My wife works for a Jewelry store and was also very impressed. (They sell Rolex, Omega, etc and couldn't believe the value of the Trident!)

I love these photos, thank you for posting them. Is it just me, or would anyone else agree that the photos on the main CW website don't do the watches justice?

What about my pics of the W61 in the past? It's just the C61 with a shorter strap. :(

^^^i was referring to the watch specifically being the first smaller C60.....not the photo itself good lady. :)

For others, to be clear....the C61 and W61 are the same watch, but were coded seperately with different straps at the time of release. At that time, CW was still selling Ladies watches. as asqwerth mentions, the only difference was the strap length.

Thanks everyone! One of the neat things about these 38mm is that my wife and I can share it. She enjoys wearing it to work (she works in jewelry). The black band fits her on the tightest setting perfectly!

I agree that it's a great watch for ladies as well.

And the glossiness of the leather strap (almost like patent leather) makes the whole package really dressy.

Wearing mine today, actually.

I told me wife she needed to plan, in advance, the days she wanted to wear it! She didn't even bother responding. :)
