The "Perfect watch" thread started here, had me thinking.
http://www.christopherwardforum.com/vie ... =1&t=46985
Whilst I view there being no such thing as one overall perfect watch and certainly don't spend time searching for one, it is possible to have, what to me are perfect watches of their type.

I will wear each of these at some point today.

- My perfect cheap small Quartz beater that is not a G-Shock.
- My perfect, looks good on many straps, reverse panda manual wind chronograph, the only Speedy that I remain interested in wearing.
- My perfect 100m WR do it all sports watch, that is also suitable to wear with black tie.

Just invent a few categories, that makes it far easier to find your perfect watch in each!

Great to see and old friend, even though my acquaintance was all too brief.

^^ your photo is making my eyes go squinty.... sometimes i watch for aa few minutes until the date on my tissot clicks over at a few mins past midnight. i just marvel at the mechanics that go into that click, still tic-tocking away and working smoothly after 40 years..... i stare without blinking til my eyes squeak, and so i find myself doing that to your photograph! :help:
watching you fail in your quest for a “one watch” has been great entertainment
