Rolex service time

Post by kevin_b1 »

The vintage Rolex is going in for a service tomorrow when I purchased it there was no paperwork with it so no idea about its last service.

I know it's 38 years old and have noticed in the last month it's started to gain time so time to ensure everything is good for the next few years.

Taking it to Watch Doctors in Tring a friend of mine took 2 of his Rolex's there and they made a very good job at a reasonable price.

So it was back within 8 days that's me taking it there and picking it up.

Full service by Rolex authorised technicians, 1 years warrenty, polished plus came back in a service pouch.

Cost £298 it's now been 30 hours since setting and it's showing 1 second slow.

Also pressure tested to 30m not to shabby for a 46 year old watch.

Very happy with there work and the results.

Thats a good price for a rolex service! Did you by any chance shop around for service prices? I'd be interested in seeing what the service price comparisons are.

I went there on recommendation as my friend had just had his 2 Rolex's serviced by them and they made a fantastic job so went there especially as it's 30 miles from me so can deliver and pick it back up myself
