Some years ago I was having a suit fitting (if EVER you want homespun philosophy, tailors are at least the equal of barbers and taxi drivers) when, remarking my 'quiet' GP, he showed me his EP....and said "Steven, the joy is nobody knows what a Zenith is! In fact they tend to think it's a cheap Soviet watch by a camera manufacturer.....it is a subtle watch for the cognoscenti."
I now have two Zeniths, an EP and an Élite for that reason.
I disliked their 'cutout' period which seemed to be marginally naff, but welcomed the return to form with a range like Richard has just shown us.
And now, all of the predictions are coming true.
Mr Biver has been beavering away at Hublotisation.....or a TAG line.....
For me, it is like seeing an old friend disfigured.
Sad!
