It is probably a bit big (45.5mm) and a bit blue for a lot of people's tastes. I like bright colours and the movement looks fantastic through the display back but at c. £8k it's too big for my budget and wrist :(

They have completely ruined the Planet Ocean of late with these rubber bezel versions. Urgh.

I rather like it! Size is not a problem, and with slightly more restrained strap, I think it would be just fine.

Confused about the "rubber bezel" talk. It looks like liquid metal to me (and indeed has the logo for that). Is it the first 15 minutes that are in orange rubber? If so, i would worry about it getting dirty.

It ain't subtle though and would be limited in what you could wear it with.

I'm normally an Omega fan, but I seriously dislike this model.

Yep , the minute markings are liquid metal , the first 15 minutes are rubber.

Its big , its loud and its in your face , I should hate it , but I like it .

Omega Seamaster PO Big Blue GMT Watch

Post by gaf1958 »

I like the look, kind of... Hate the rubber insert, they should never have introduced that at all last year. It's too big for me, so the question is academic, but even if they had a 42mm size, it's not for me. This, from the man who loves loud colourful watches. ;)
I see a somewhat limited market for it, but I've been wrong many times before now...
