The grapes not my personal up of tea I'd go for this one

I'd go for the smp or if you can stretch it the op.
The BB36 for me is let down by the hands. I don't mind them been snowflake it's just they seem to big for the case, if they had slimmed down the hands. Instead of trying to keep it as diver they would have had a more balanced and versatile watch.

Oh, I have no doubt you could ;)

Most recently I have been "dreaming" about a Tudor Black Bay in bronze.

Dare I do a 5 into 1 consolidation? Image

If I do, it will rather limit scope for future purchases / flipping.

^^ Absolutely. It's a cathartic process, and we only have one wrist for watch-wearing. And one life to enjoy.

Not seeing a downside.

Its unique, perhaps reason enough to be a keeper? Always the fall back of the 60/60 return if it doesn't hit the spot.

I'd say go for it, for all the reasons Richard has pointed out. And now you've had the thought, those 5 watches are doomed anyway, so there's no going back! Plus I think this watch is a cracker and was the pick of the archive sale for me.

Words based on experience. :D

An experience I've also had.

If you wanted to sell it in the future I'm sure people would be interested, but whether they would pay 2k is a tough one. Standard model is c£1500, old logo went for £800 - £1000 in the sales.

I think the prototype should be priced at £1750 ish and maybe worth £1500 if you sell.
All guesswork, but irrelevant if you are the only owner of this unique and striking model.

Sale codes work in the archive sale?

No unfortunately they don't. :(

Perfectly put. Buying a watch, particularly a new one, is like buying a car. It depreciates the moment it leaves the showroom.
