I'm going to call it a hit, especially the white. I'm not sold on the bracelet though...

Re: Alex Sport
Eeek. Not liking that at all. Uncomfortable sub dial arrangement. Endless rehaut. Mean bezel insert. Dog collar bracelet. Ouch.

Re: Alex Sport
I'm with the architect!
Seems a bit of a mish mash of a design...the sub-dials,the bezel insert, the rehaut, the date windows, the textured dial bit,the bracelet....they all (to me at least) look like they are fighting each other for prominence.
Nope....not liking that at all.

Re: Alex Sport
Does this watch use the Eta quartz alarm movement? is this why its sub dials aren't inline with the main hands horizontal axis?
or perhaps the chrono version?
|Feeling shades of this F1 coming through in this design.
Quite like it bracelet aside. Getting really bored of these dull colours already, wheres all the flair? pinks and purples etc? perhaps even a metal flake or pearlescent dial option?
The Emily and the charlotte seem to be the best models so far.

Re: Alex Sport
My first reaction was "Hmmm, yes, that looks distinctive"
The white struck me as the better looking of the three. Or maybe if that N22-CHR-SCS dial was carbon fibre like the C700
I then started to examine it and my second reaction was "Hmmm, odd bracelet, looks a bit muddled".
Would like to know the dimensions.
I'd also like to know if, for a sports watch, if it has any lume on dial/hands.
Will run it by the fiancée for her thoughts (I'm assuming this is another women's offering).
Depending on the size, I think with a different bracelet or strap it could meet the needs of some men who like/need a smaller sized watch.

I'd say overall the new female collection is a hit for me. I don't think they'll be any autos, but then I didn't expect there to be.

I agree about the collection being a hit. I think the new designs are really beautiful, very good looking, stylish, classy, and not blingy (with a couple obvious exceptions!). And there are so many of them. This is great! CW had a really limited women's line before.
My husband has been lurking over my shoulder waiting to see my reactions to each watch reveal (my turn for a watch this fall) but so far, though the designs are so good, and JUST WHAT I HOPED for in appearance, there is not a watch for me. The simple truth is I can get a perfectly accurate, good looking quartz watch anywhere. Sorry if this sentiment is anathema, but for me, quartz doesn't need to be Swiss and doesn't need to cost hundreds. What I am looking for in a quality watch is a mechanical movement. If this new collection had mechanical options I would be so hard pressed to choose among them. The Emily double tour, the Victoria round, and now this sporty one (I like the bracelet!) As it is, though they are very tempting for fashion alone, I can't justify them.
I hate to be negative because I sincerely appreciate that this collection was a ton of effort and sort of a seachange in making a significant women's group. But personally I guess I will be waiting till there are mechanical mvmts in them.
