Some drawings from the Chat
Fot those of you that who were unable to attend the chat and missed these, and for those that would like to see them again....
The following are some images Chris posted during the chat. Remember these are drawings and not actual photos!
Enjoy!
First up is the image of the new bracelet. When used on a C6,C60,C600 this will have a divers extension.
New colors for the C60 Trident Pro. Chris still says no Teal! The others will be available soon.
The C50-COSC - a 39mm case
The Vintage C8
This beauty....the C9 (?) Jump Hour.. my personal favorite! This makes a statement for CWL I think.
C90 Beckett's white

Uh oh.... I like them all. Trouble for my credit card. Big trouble.

Quite like the vintage C8 – reminds me a bit of Bell & Ross - but you are going to get the usual white date wheel comments

+1 , my eyes too!DSHall wrote:Wow. Love them all. Isn't the Trident on left Teal? Or is it my eyes.
looks like the vintage and the 'teal' C60 for me ( disappointed that nothing about the C700 came to light) , not sure about the C50 & dislike the jump hour pretty intensely!

Re: Some drawings from the Chat
Thanks Kip- they look even better second time around. The date window on the Trident seems to have been moved to a more geometrically favourable position and lines through perfectly with the four o'clock position. I think I will wait to see if this is how it gets released in the flesh before considering an alternative colour diver. The strap is freekin ace and will be a definite purchase when it comes out. Loving the vintage C8- on my list. Not so sure about the C50 COSC- the lugs are too thin and at 39mm- maybe a tad too small for me. The jumping hour is bonkers but I think I am starting to like the idea of it. Chris's comments on likely costs may rule this one out for me though.
What with all this and the C700, this could be the year my CWL count doubles or triples!

I like the jump hour and the C8. May give the Trident another go in a new colour.

LIke the look of the hour jump, though likely too pricey for me.
I like the new C60's and am keen to sample the updated strap.
The c50 and vintages don't do much for me....
Slightly disappointed about the lack of C700 info... 7750....

Re: Some drawings from the Chat
The bracelet looks good.
New C60 colours do nothing for me, maybe they will look better in the metal.
The C50 COSC looks good, another good milestone for CW, though probably a little expensive for me.
Like the vintage C8, though would prefer a white on black date wheel.
The jump hour, another complication string to the CW bow, not sure about the Roman hour numerals though, a little confusing at first glance, would prefer Arabic.

No more Quartz (except when I cannot resist).
Re: Some drawings from the Chat
I think it is safe to assume the date position will not have moved. These renderings are probably simply based on the original drawings.jmarchitect wrote: The date window on the Trident seems to have been moved to a more geometrically favourable position and lines through perfectly with the four o'clock position.

Re: Some drawings from the Chat
I missed the chat so thank you Kip for giving us a taste. I'm not really a metal bracelet man but I hope that the new offering meets the needs of those who are critical of the existing ones. I like the new colours for the C60, the green is close enough to Teal for me. This should satisfy those who believe you can't have enough divers. I'd like to see the same choice with the GMT. I like the vintage C8 which is a good evolution for an existing model. The COSC C5 is also a logical move. Depending on price I might go for one of those although a COSC C9 would have been even better IMHO. But I guess the C5 is CWL's signature watch. But wow, didn't predict the jump hour watch. Not sure if I like it yet but if I were an out and out collector I'd probably want one. Might prefer arabic hour numerals but that Chris has got balls I must say.
