I agree with all of you early guys above. It looks great, and sufficiently different from the regular Trident.

Also like the illustration of the new bracelet.

Well done Fraser, and well done Scooter. :)

Some personal thoughts through the elimination process:

1) I don't think I need another blue watch
2) I don't think I need a Trident Pro

My thoughts now:

1) I think I need another blue watch
2) I think I need a Trident Pro

Scooter/Fraser/CW - that is an absolute beauty. I think I am in 8)

I'm seeing that as a darker blue than the mock ups.
Not that I'm complaining as I think it is an improvement on the original images that were voted on.

I'm now on the horns of a dilemma. I like red, better half would prefer I wear blue. Compromise is called for somewhere as I can't really justify both.

Mind you, any suggestions welcome :D

With all this initial interest I am also thinking that the blue may get over subscribed :?

One question (probably asked and answered before on the C60). Why is the back engraving at an angle and not in line with the lugs? I would have thought in line with lugs or at 90 degrees to that in line with crown. Is this just another CWL quirk or am I missing something in translation?

I think all C60 backs are at an angle. Would be difficult to be absolutely accurate with a screw fitting and it is better than being a degree or two off. I am really enthusiastic about this watch now as together with the red we have the first C60's with the date at 4 o'clock. Wow!

yep... i'm 100% in for this one.. provided i can get the serial number that i'm after

alas, my reasons for buying this one means that serial number is a deal breaker for me.. so we'll see what happens when it goes to reservation.

I can't explain why the difference between the drawings and the web photos, but since we are using a standard C60 dial, I would not expect the date window to be any different than the current C60 dials.

Remember that these are drawings and not final production spec sheets.

What really surprises me is that nobody noticed the lack of a jewel count on the caseback. Although Chris will try for ETA 2824, he cannot guarantee that. The Selitta SW200 would then be used.

Kip, you raise then dash my hopes. I can't believe that "final drawings" can be so far out with the date wheel. Who did the drawings? Surely here there is a recognition where the datewheel should be and how much better the piece looks. It would make the 2012 FLE so much more worthwhile if this could be got right.
