Lovely to see the Penguin spectator.

Interesting. Last week the Photobucket app was not allowing me to view my pictures at all – all I got was the dreaded message. Now I can see the pictures and download them with two touches on my iPad. A bit laborious but ultimately more reliable than downloading whole albums on the laptop. At least this way I am recovering the best pictures – slowly.

You're laughing in the icy ocean
(Or is that a grimace of "OMG, why did I think this was a good idea?")
It's a great photo anyway, especially with the strategically placed penguin spectator
I am not a collector of watches. I used to be able to say that and know I was telling the truth.
Any 'free' image hosting website can change their terms, go bankrupt or get bought out by another company. So these sites may be free now but the same thing can happen to them like photobucket.
Hmmmm .. finally found some time to get around to trying to find something to replace photobucket. Looked at Imgur but when I try to sign up I get a security warning from my browser (Chrome) saying the connection isn't private and complaining of a certificate error with the site... slightly worrying.
Has anyone else had this issue or could anyone recommend another alternative ?
Thanks

Experience - the thing you get just after the point you REALLY needed it.
I set up an account with Imgur about 3 years ago while testing different hosts, for the forum. I rarely used it as Photobucket seemed a bit simpler, yet very similar.
Since the Photobucket fiasco, I have been using and recommending Imgur as the simplest method for this forum while I continue to investigate a better alternative.

would you know if this would work on an android mobile?
I have had no success with either imgur or flikr and haven't been able to post and pictures since photobucket kneed me firmly in the groin!
