Well, after being on the 'alert' list for RubberB releasing a strap for the Black Bay for what seems like years, the day has finally arrived! Just got my email. I'm a big fan of rubber straps and have been waiting for the 'perfect fit' rubber strap, Tudor deployment compatible, to be released. It looks superb with its solid 'block integration' ends. They are 'dual colour', and so one question remains which I'm hoping for some views on. Which do you think would be best for my BBR? I don't want red as, paying that much for a rubber strap, I want it to be fairly universal. I'm torn between the Jet Black/Satin Black' (just plain black, basically) and the 'Jet Black/Sahara Tan' (which I think will compliment the BB's hand colour perfectly). Any thoughts as to what you guys think would look the best?

classic black / black for me too
watching you fail in your quest for a “one watch” has been great entertainment

I would have said black/black before I looked at them, but the black/sahara is pretty good too - livens up the overwhelming black just a touch, but nowhere near as much as the red or blue. When you're wearing it, there'll be just the edge strip visible, so more subtle than it seems when looking at the strap off the wrist.
Mind you, at $250, you'll want to be confident you've made the right choice. The all black may be the "safer" choice.

Interesting they don't picture the BBR in the colour selections gallery.
I always thought they look a bit weird with the big fitted rubber 'end link'. They might be supremely comfortable though, but at $250 I'll never know

I thought the same about the fitted endlinks, until I got the Muhle Glashutte with the articulated rubber end links, and it works really well. It'sAliveJim wrote:Interesting they don't picture the BBR in the colour selections gallery.

I saw this on another forum the other day. I thought it was a tad pricey for what it is, especially seeing that you don't get a buckle with it.
Fortunately I have a genuine Tudor clasp lying around that will fit just nicely if needs be.
