Hi Guys,
Got a new watch - can I remove links to test fit and not affect warranty?

I would advise not, just in case you make a hash of the job and scratch the bracelet, which would then not be in new condition to qualify for the 60/60 Warranty return.

If you click on Customer Service then 60:60 Guarantee on the CW website, it states:
"Does bracelet resizing affect my 60:60 warranty?
No, resizing does not affect the 60:60 warranty, but please include any bracelet links that have been removed when returning the watch."

The important part of the 60:60 are the words "If for any reason you’re not happy with your watch, you have up to 60 days to return it, in box-fresh condition, free of charge and receive a replacement or full refund by return with no quibbles".
I would be most surprised if this does not apply to the bracelet as well.

.. . . but if the bracelet gets scratched in the process of link removal?
What then as it will, surely, not be in 'box fresh' condition?

I believe that we are thinking along similar lines Guy.

Re: Remove Links - 60/60 Warranty
This refers to CW re-sizing the bracelet before sending it out, not the customer doing it after taking delivery.rogco wrote:Yes,

They always send removed links, and understandably expect them back.
