Cutouts are not raised. They are cut out from the dial. I can't see what's going on, except that the indexes alternate.

they are annoying either way.

I think the price of this is astronomical. They should make a £300 quartz version. I don't like quartz, but at least with this watch you would never know it was quartz, and they could thin the case even more.
