I just got my Aviator, and all I can say is ...

WOW! Perhaps it's because I don't normally buy a watch I haven't seen in person, that I normally am not surprised by a watch I have purchased. But I have done that now with two CWs, the Malvern Auto and the Aviator. Each time, the watch is better looking in person, than I could tell from the online photos. It's nice to buy something from a photo, and it actually turn out nicer than you thought it would. Why is it the food you order from a menu is never that way? :D

I just got the watch yesterday, and am unfortuantely leaving it behind for a week, so I haven't had time to really take it all in yet. The thing that really strikes me so far are the numerals on the dial. They are really sharp. They are so readable. I really love the way that they standout. They are so crisp...and readable. It's hard to put into words. At some angles, they just look chrome like, and just glow off the black dial. At other times, the lume is more apparent and makes them stand out. Really sharp. And, I am not even a fan of arabic numerals!

Congrats on the new watch, Joe. Take it where you're going!

Helpful dining hint: Frequent more restaurants that don't have pictures of food on the menu. Just a thought.

As it turned out, I did. I just couldn't leave it behind.
