My Malvern C3SWT

I really love the Malvern watches. I think I will make my collection with the three of them plus the C7. I am delighted by the choices made for the form, the colors, and their overall style. Today, I have had already 5 weeks with my C3 so I decided to give my humble impressions.



The first thing that I told myself when I opened the case (and my wife, by the way) was that it was huge and heavy. If you have already seen my little collection, you will understand why: I am accustomed to more thin and compact ones; but after all this time I can tell you that this is the watch I am giving more wrist time.

Here you see a picture as close as I could take with my camera (well ok...with my daughters’ camera ).



The strap is beautiful and fits very well, even if I have to use the last hole (I have a very small wrist) and I am happy to have chosen the tan strap, it gives a more distinguish yet cheerful look to the watch.

I wanted to show you one of the features I enjoy: the brush finish on the sides. This double satin and chrome finish is what gives this watch a more unique and elegant appearance. A real piece of art!



See this picture. This is why I am afraid to go to bigger watches (even if I already made my mind about the C7 – Thanks, Flashman), The watch seems big indeed in my wrist. I do not know what you think.



But, what about keeping time? This watch is unbelievable! After 5 week I have not seen any noticeable change compared to the atomic clock in Boulder, Colorado. How impressive is that! So far then, is as accurate as an expensive atomic clock...who needs them anyway, if you have your C3.

Nice report Miguel. Superb photos, regardless of whose camera. I love my C3 also. I especially like the style and length of hands. I seems to give the watch a certain strength.

Btw, I don't think it is to big for your wrist. As you become more accustomed to it I don't think you will either.

Thank you Kip. As you say I am becoming more accoustumed to the size so it seems that it is a matter of time.

Thank you Russ, I am really flattered. All the credit goes to CW for making a timepiece so beautiful, though. And the timekeeping is exceptional! I never thought that this movement could be so accurate. I am impressed.

I think this forum with all the pics really helps CW sales because some of the photography by the forum members is superb compared to CW's adds. You've made me think twice about this watch. More pics please!

I think the photos on the website aren't as good so you get that wow when you open up the box, I now I did but the real life shots here are excellent if you're on the edge of buying and need the push.

Sorry I didn't see your review sooner; I've been away and very busy lately so no been on the forum as much.

The watch looks sensational, excellent wrist shot and proves your wrist is not as slim as you think it is ! I've got the black face C3 with SS bracelet, but I'm also thinking of swapping it for a leather strap; I think your tan strap is a good choice.
Hey, not that long now to the C7; much as I like my autos, I think I'll be in straight away for a quartz as they look superb .

Hey, when you do, please take some close-up back shots as well. You have a good eye for photography. Credit goes to CW for his watch but you get the credit for creating pictures as good as the real thing.
