Must admit that a couple of weeks in the Sunshine State has done me (and Mrs D) the power of good, and we much prefer taking holidays at this time of year - to break up the often unrelenting drabness of winter.

If there was a practical way to achieve retirement here, I think we would.

Still, the shortest day is a milestone that things are headed in the right direction. :)

Lucky you...I’m off to Norwich tomorrow for Christmas :lol:

I do struggle through the winter can’t wait for longer daylight hours
