Two more days to get your entries in, folks. PM, remember, with your 1-10 list.

Probably no entry forthcoming from me Steve, but I was a little surprised at some of your selected watches. There are few there that you've mentioned over the years, but at least one that I'm sure you've vowed never to own... and one that's not Swiss...

No white dials either. Now I know you've said you prefer more contrast between dial and hands than most white watches provide, but at least one on your list has a polar version with black hands and markers.... ah, but I was forgetting...

Tastes change, Gary, and I have certainly been aware of my own tastes changing recently. Remember also that this is very much a what if exercise. All will be explained at the weekend.

True, Steve you're now wearing watches that I'd never have guessed. And I'm not talking about the Speedy (that's simply good taste ) - see my comment in the NCWOTD thread...

A photographic reminder of the prizes – the photos I am hosting on TWF seem to keep disappearing! Overall winner gets first choice, obviously.

Started to work on this ages ago but got deterred by the absence of information I felt was rather important (such as weight) for most of the models proposed, but with so few entries I guess I have a chance half guessing. Though if only 7 people have to do better than me the chance of coming last is bigger too

You might find this hard to believe but I put on a vintage watch this morning for the first time in several weeks and it felt VERY SMALL. Took me an hour or so to adjust mentally.

Don't worry I will enter, I'd numberlexia'd the end date as the 31st so it had fallen off the radar slightly

Scoring so far suggests that anyone entering late may yet have a good chance.
