Re: Thank you
We are just over 1 week in now. Star is still improving, although the improvements the past 2 days have been incremental. She is obviously getting stronger and the head tilt is a bit less pronounced.
Our best guess is she has achieved about 80-90% of where she will stabilize, but we shall see.

Re: Thank you
We are now at day 11 of Star's recovery.
We are estimating that she is at about 80%. She is walking with much more stability, but still cannot make any sudden moves without losing her balance. When standing still, if she try's to shake her head, as dogs do, she gets unstable.
That said, her energy level is better and her ears and tail goes back up from time to time. She is even exerting her alpha control with the other girls at this point. We still see incremental progress daily. We just do not know how much further her progress will go as we approach the 2 week mark.
We remain pleased and hopeful that she will get back to at least 90%.
Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers directed to Star.

Re: Thank you
We are now at the 2 week mark in Stars recovery. The past few days have shown minimal improvement. She is stubborn and has twice now managed to tackle the stairs. Fortunately only going up, but she doesn't seem afraid to attempt going down, but we have managed to keep her from that. Stars magnificent tail has started to return to the raised position instead of always down.
The biggest hurdle remains her overall stability. We are obviously uncertain how much further her recovery will progress, if at all, but we do remain hopeful.
She has recovered to the point where she is fully functional and can continue with a good quality life again, and for that we greatly relieved.
Again I thank all those that have contributed their thoughts and prayers for our Star.

The old girl is looking great.
Congratulations Kip and no doubt a sigh of relief in the house that Star is shining brightly once again.
