It's scary what a few dents costs to get repaired...but then it's a whole new door. Like most things replace seems to be the way these days rather than repair.

Hopefully your pride and joy will soon be as good as new :)

Great news Ferg!
I'm still dicking w/ my insurance company, an adjuster is due to arrive soon for a second estimate. What a PitA!

I sincerely hope that neither Ferg nor Tom take a spanking at renewal time.
I once got penalised after someone admitted responsibility when they drove into one car....not on the car that had been pranged (in my no blame stationary bump) but it led to a £100 weighting on my Merc SL!!!!
It too was stationary: at home!!!!!!

Well I dropped off my MINI to be repaired yesterday.

I was driven into a few years ago, wholly the other person's fault... but still put our future insurance premiums up :(

Some berk in a van pulling a U-turn in a junction reversed back into my R53 last year but it had no adverse effect on my premium...thankfully! To be fair the insurers did issue me a letter which completely absolved me of cost or blame which I've not had to use yet but it's there just in case.
I just think it's cool to have an obsolete technology on my wrist that actually works. - rfortson

I got a similar letter from my insurance company too so I should be okay.
