Hi, I'm new to CW (and watches in general). I like the look of the LE - it seems like a great everyday watch. Is this a good first watch for a CW newbie? What's the quality of the bracelet like? WHat is the price in US dollars?
Thanks!
Newbie

Hi Big B, welcome to the forum! I'm sure Kip will be along shortly to arrange your meds...( if this sounds strange..don't worry, all will become clear ).
As to the watch, I suppose it depends on what you mean by "everyday". It is quite classy looking and I think suits formal or casual wear, I wouldn't choose it for sports or doing the garden but otherwise it suits most things.
The bracelet is comfortable and can be adjusted well thanks to half links, but it does have solid links where the lugs and bracelet meet which makes it quite wide acroos your wrist, I did find it odd at first but have got used to it now.
Price in dollars, no idea, but just google currency converter and you'll find something to help
Whether its a good watch for a newbie is up to you. It is more expensive than most but is a limited edition, its an auto so unless you wear it regularly will need winding and setting unlike a quartz.
Anyway have fun choosing!

Welcome to "The Asylum". Personally I think the Forum LE is a great place to start. That of course assumes you like it.
It is a really good value. The current rate of exchange is about $1.60 per 1 BP making the LE with bracelet about $488.00 US plus shipping. The actual rate is determined at time of payment or posting by your credit card company.
Good luck with your choice and be sure to post some photos for us.
You have now been scheduled for meds and treatmnets...please report!
