Surely it must be a must-have on a watch like this?

I could but it's very pixellated, so not much help!

The CW pics are quite low res actually, fine for the web at the size they're displayed, but not much else.

Imagine the CW logo with a cocktail stick stuck into it vertically, then rotate it round to eight o clock and you're about there! :D

I hope so, otherwise there isn't much to differentiate it from the regular quartz versions...

Just sent the wife into the kitchen to find some cocktail sticks. Gonna try and make my own model!

Difficult to tell, but it may be a bit OTT?

A slightly random thought, but I know a lot of guys on the forum like Toshi straps - think there is any chance CW would team up with someone like Toshi and get a bespoke strap for the LE? Given I like the SS bracelet not sure why I thought of this but put it out for comment...

Actually, just tried to do this again, and I've managed to zoom whilst retaining some detail.

I think you may be right about it being a bit too much...?

That's not a bad idea at all actually! Maybe the people who can do something about it will read it and you never know! :)

Regards the second hand...that is the sort of thing i meant indeed.

Regards the Toshi strap idea....you would have a very nice strap but it would add to the final price and i suspect that the majority would rather have the CW strap and do their own thing. Personally speaking it would be a big plus for me (but only if the finalised design meant i wanted to buy one....obviously!)

A bit off topic, but I must admit I have put the original strap back on my C8 as I found my Toshi strap just too thick to be comfortable. Strange really, I have another Toshi (a Papaya coloured one) which is thinner (and consequently far more comfortable) than the matt black one I got for the C8.

As you said, I think the Toshi 'look and feel' is not likely to be what the majority of CW C2LE buyers would prefer.

Anyhow, pretty sure my C2LE will have a bracelet!

Yeah am pretty sure in the final reckoning I will go for steel on this particular design, was just a thought that CW could look at options of making strap/bracelet bespoke for this LE, just put the Toshi name out there as it is one that has come up on the forum a few times ad he seems like the kinda character that could do justice to an LE and make something that adds to the piece.

Just make your own straps. That's what I've taken to doing of late :-$

Probably a bit off-topic for this thread, but I've been having a bash at making my own straps lately. All a bit trial and error  I'll start a separate thread and post up a few pics when I feel they're ready for public scrutiny hehe. The stitching is a bit of a horror show atm!

C2 / white dial / blue hands .... just perfect!

I prefer the brown strap, but the strap should not be an issue.

Agreed, the red hand looks totally naff, (and I love red hands) but on this watch is makes it look mickey mouse and wouldn't look out of place if it was a prize you could win at the local fair. The C2 is a classic simple looking watch and so the LE should retain the classic simple look as the orginal, nothing to fancy, nothing in-your-face. KEEP IT SIMPLE
