Post by FloridaPhil »

Just picked this up in the summer sale - haven't even sized it yet. Beautiful watch - so many little details that I am still discovering

Your photograph really brings out the best in the GP, Phil. Gotta say though, I still think the Ascari is the better looker!

LOL What can I say? I'm a sucker for blue watches! It's all good. Just glad I got one in the sale without any problems.

I dithered too long for either the Ascari or the Rosso Corsa, probably because of the dial design, and the yellow one was gone when I made up my mind. Such is life.

I agree, a great photo Phil ;)
The Epreuve is a very classy looking watch. If I could have, I would have also bought one of these.

You must have pipped me to the finish line (pun intended) as I was contemplating the purchase too long and whoosh the bracelet version had gone. I did pick up the leather strap version though. I really like the watch and the fact it is a cosc Quartz. The better half likes it merely for the fact she is Hungarian and the first GP, the French GP was won by a Hungarian heh. Image
