This is a classic all right; but not necessarily for the right reasons.

Austin Allegro with 'quartic' (IIRC) steering wheel.

I owned a 1977 Allegro (All Aggro) with a normal steering wheel.(They had come to their senses by then) It was head and shoulders the worst car I have ever owned. Barely a week would go by without something failing or falling off.

Ah, an Austin, you will forgive me for being in the States that we never got that one. Still I feel I should have known. But thanks for the education folks. So many interesting cars in this world. The square C5 is such an attractive watch. Thanks for the help !! Hope you are all well.
