Thats A Moray

Post by Allysmith »

So this time its my C60 again

As I was framing a wee shot of my C60 who should appear but one of the deeps most beautiful and sometimes scary creatures the Black Moray

This photo was taken at Depth off the South Coast of Tenerife at an amazing dive site called Pal Mar Cave. Due to the depth I used a strobe ... and should have cut back on the intensity of the light ...... Next time I hope to get a better one

About 13mm if my memory serves me correctly. Check the spreadsheet if any doubt. ;)

Good job it wasn't a Magpie, he'd have been off and away with it.

Also, a good job it wasn't on your wrist.

Yeah, despite efforts to control them they are all over Florida and just about the entire Caribbean. As I say, make them a desirable dish and watch the population get wiped out! Other than that, I don't see how we get the situation back under control. :(

Lovely photo. Eels are always one of my favourite things to see when diving, particularly special in colder UK waters.
