A new watch and new straps

Post by Clach77 »

I've been buying way too many watches. Again!

This week a C60 Chronograph arrived. I was planning to put it on brown alligator, but it looks so good on the bracelet I think I'll leave it for now.

Having taken the black alligator strap off my C60 JAG for my C60 Chronometer I needed a new strap. I've now fitted the rubber touch leather strap. I'm happy with the look.

The final purchase is a brown C60 strap for my C10 FLE. I just need to replace the clasp for a butlerfly one and I'm set to go.

Looking good!! Love the combinations. I do like that brown strap on the FLE.

A warning on trying the C60 Chrono on a CWL brown 'gator.

The 'gator strap has a lovely feel, nice and soft and is very pliable BUT the C60 Chrono is a heavy watch and, arguably, a bit too heavy to be suitable stable / supported by the 'gator strap.

IMHO, keep it on the bracelet.

Just my two pence worth.

Thanks Kip.

Guy - you could be right. Mind you, the alligator straps hold the C60 COSCs OK, so they might work.

Seasonal Greetings,

Agreed, some good looking combinations there.

Have you thought about rubber for your C60 Chrono?

New strap for the Red Jag, very good.

C10 FLE, like the white, blue and brown colour combination.

Does that leave anything on your wish list for Christmas?

I'm not sure I fancy a rubber strap on the Chrono.

Inspired by seeing your red Hirsch strap, I've considered a leather/rubber strap in brown for my blue Scooter.

I think my wish list is (thankfully) exhausted for now. I did also buy a red bezel C60 COSC this month.

Seasonal Greetings,

You could always consider a Hirsch Robby for your C60 Chrono.

Available in black/blue or a black /yellow combination.

They are extremely comfortable.
