Im due to take delivery of it next week - and can't wait. Thanks again for showcasing it so nicely (amazing quality pictures by the way!)....and a BIG THANK YOU to Wera!
Excellent news !! Well done :)
I Love mine and I am currently wearing it on holidays in Spain.
It's a fantastic watch, looking forward to seeing your photos when it arrives.
Wera is a Legend.

Hello my friend, I am now part of the Elite club!
Just a quick question for you...How many winds do you give yours from being completely depleted,or daily?....also, do you use/recommend a watch winder? Its my first manual wound watch for a very long time!
Thanks

Hi Dom,
Congratulations !!
They are a fantastic watch.
Normally from sitting in my watch box after stopping for a few days, I give it a shake to get the movement going. Then I wind it about 15 to 20 winds and wear it.
Occasionally I'll give it a full wind, 40 winds but its not needed.
I don't use a winder.
As always with an automatic, its down to how active or non active you are as regarding how much reserve you build up.

Thanks Ferg...some very useful information!
I absolutely love the watch, I also have a C7 - but can see it being left in its case quite often from now on!
Do you think the Elite makes a good dress watch?

You could certainly dress it up with different strap choices etc but as such I'd have to say no to being able to use it as a dress watch.
Just means buying more watches !
A C5 Slimline or a C65 perhaps ?

Yeah, I think your right.
Trouble is, CWL make too many fine watches to choose from!
Ive got my 50th coming up in a couple of years - and by some miracle, I'm hoping for a Speedmaster pro, so will probable have to wait until then (by which time it will probably be closer to £4K)...in the mean time I will probably have to "make do" with my C7!
You have quite a collection of beautiful watches yourself!

Thank you ;)
I built the collection up over a four year period with a few being swapped out along the way.

I'm looking forward top picking up my freshly recased C11 Titanium Elite from CW Towers next Friday :)
I really missed this watch while it was away but they did it very quickly in the end and Deb went to great lengths to track down a new case in Switzerland for me. It was the last job she did for me and will be sadly missed. She was outstanding.
So it looks like a busy showroom visit ! :)
