So far not at all. My parents being the exception since I got each of them a CW which they both wear regularly. I have a feeling my brother will have a CW at some point too, but we will see.

I've only recently gotten into watches (early this year) but I've never seen anyone with a CW. But before that, I never really noticed a person's watch.

I was on a Delta flight to Seattle last weekend and I think it's cool that there's a CW C60 Trident ad on the last page of their in-flight magazine. That's something I wouldn't care about before I was into watches either.

Hey all, I was never aware of Christopher Ward watches until a poster on another forum recommended to me a Christopher Ward dive watch when I was searching for a good dive watch. So after researching about them I'll admit they have a pretty good selection of watches and have a pretty good reputation in the watch world. I just noticed yesterday that one of my friends is actually wearing a CW watch! Funnily enough he's been wearing it since the last year or so but I've just never noticed it until yesterday and I've usually see him on a daily basis haha.

Just a reminder that the question is How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?

Not that you never have.

I know this really isn't a big deal, but I continually get requests to initiate a new rule regarding this topic. I don't wish to do that, nor do I think any more than a reminder is really necessary.

How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?

I don't *think* I've ever replied to this thread (but as usual, I may be wrong), but I must admit that I think that "never" is a perfectly valid answer to the question. If I was asked that in conversation (not that I ever would be!), my answer would be ... never.

If it was a survey question, it would be statistically flawed if you were unable to answer never, zero, zip, nada...

To me it's an indication that they are not common wherever you live, and that complaining about it is, well, downright curmudgeonly and belongs in a different thread. ;)

Actually Kip, above is the question from the OP. To reply in the negative seems a perfectly reasonable response to me.

How on earth anyone can get worked up by someone saying they haven't seen one is beyond me.

Yesterday, upon the stair,
I met a man who wasn’t there
He wasn’t there again today
I wish, I wish he’d go away...

When I came home last night at three
The man was waiting there for me
But when I looked around the hall
I couldn’t see him there at all!
Go away, go away, don’t you come back any more!
Go away, go away, and please don’t slam the door... (slam!)

Last night I saw upon the stair
A little man who wasn’t there
He wasn’t there again today
Oh, how I wish he’d go away...

I did notice that he was wearing a Mark I Trident though.

Not sure if this is a suitable answer, as the watch wasn't being worn, but:

A watch chap I know (so not really a stranger either) said to me "you have a few of those Christopher Ward watches don't you?".

Yes I replied.

He went into the back of the jewellers and came out carrying a C3 that someone had brought in for a battery change (so he wasn't actually wearing it).

Still a sighting none the less! :)

I do not disagree, but the thread title question is what most are seemingly going (or not) by. Far to late to adjust that. I also agree with your last comment, but agreed to make mention.

"How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?" "I haven't" is a totally valid answer to this question IMO.

Anyone saying they haven't seen one is being crass and puerile and deserves to be strung up by the unmentionables or cast into a nest of scorpions.

There – wasn't too difficult, was it?

I've never seen a nest of scorpions. Are they actually sociable creatures or are they solitary?
Damn, I've just said the never word, but never mind, I think I got away with it.
Damn, I've done it again...
