Gary, I wasn't a huge fan either - especially those with all the rings and extra piece of strap - but the USM single-piece ones (e.g. this from Watchgecko) and Havestons really do wear much more like a normal strap - give those a try..?

THanks guys. From that angle it looks ok but from straight down imo there is a bit too much strap on top of the wrist. Being only 38mm, the fabric really shows the size.

A recent sales purchase (the green Bader strap, not the green C60). Had I known that the green was available in a 22mm I’d have bought one ages ago, but I’d only ever seen them in 20mm sizes.

The photos demonstrate the chameleon effect of the green bezel. Shade and full sun bring a change to the colour...
