'Interesting' Guy...not too sure about that one myself, I thought the orange you had on it previously suited it better?

Trusted Trident today. Looking also at a Trident with a black dial. Not sure which one: black bezel, red bezel, vintage steel or titanium #2. Recommendations? Image

Definitely 'interesting'; agreed Steve. Cheers.

Presumably you're comparing with this one (taken under my kitchen lights);-

Image

Its an Isofrane strap which is, after a couple of days wear, the best and most comfortable rubber strap I've got.

The rubber is remarkably soft and flexible/stretchy, and has a lovely smooth, non sticky feel to it; whereas the red one is also a good soft genuine rubber but just feels a tad 'sticky'.

One think I'm learning, or at least I learnt quite some time ago, is that my Chrono P'type is extremely hard to find a good strap combination for. Maybe that's a reason it never made it into production and perhaps I should just resort to putting it back on its bracelet.

Yes, I was - it certainly suited better then the red (to my eyes). I've heard good things about the Isofrane straps, and had been tempted - just been slightly put off by the costs...

I actually think your Proto would be nice with a custom (black?) leather strap, with some bright green stitching detail - a bit like these (just the colour combos, not the strap styling per se):

Don't tempt him Steve, for goodness sake!

Although we can steer him clear of the hateful NATO! :)

Keep em coming Guy! :)
