I see a number of tachymeter type bezel inserts available on ebay, all pretty inexpensive.
I assume that a number of Ward components are 'standard' - that they are used on a number of watch brands. Would anyone have a steer on whether the ebay ones - for example <<OMEGA SPEEDMASTER PROFESSIONAL NEW TACHYMETRE BEZEL INSERT 145.012;145.022;3590>> would fit.
Perhaps to ask a better question does anyone know if/which other bezels are compatible [the other one that occurs is a carerra]?
Might have Ward do the job but to be honest I have 'a watch guy' and I don't wear the C7 that frequently so tempted to just save a few quid.

I wouldn't assume that anything other than the original insert will fit.
Normally a recase is only 60quid or so, so it isn't a huge amount.

Re: Bezel replacement c7 mk2
Bezel parts for CW watches are not generic. They are proprietary OEM.
On the C60's I have tried several times to locate a bezel insert that would work. None even close.

Re: Bezel replacement c7 mk2
I was recently (last week) quoted £80 for a re-case on a Trident, this DIDN'T inlcude the bezel which was a further £50 on top. (Unless i've misunderstood the email)smegwina wrote:I wouldn't assume that anything other than the original insert will fit.

Just realised the C7 is fixed bezel so probably is included with the case

thought the c7 was about 60 quid and included the bezel. ^^^No, you're probably right , it was for a Trident my quote so obviously a rotating bezel is a seperate part. Sorry

Re: Bezel replacement c7 mk2
If one ordered a re-case or re-bezel, does anyone know if CW will entertain changing colour(s)? Given we are all changing straps and those quick pins do a great job of making it easy, it would be nice to go a step further!

They will only replace like with like. Unless the bezel you want is no longer available, then they may offer a different colour.

Ok, many thanks. A bit of a shame but good to know. On the flip side, the pricing seems more than reasonable. They will only replace like with like. Unless the bezel you want is no longer available, then they may offer a different colour.
