CW make great cases, Wolf do excellent cases and winders and Dulwich also make very good cases.

Bought myself a second Dulwich Designs 12 watch leather case with glass lid, last night, to accommodate recent arrivals.

£79.95 for the black interior version, which now appears to be out of stock, but there is a beige version at £84.95

Has anybody any views on Mele & Co. cases?

I'm looking for a reasonable quality case, without a glass lid, and these look very good value. However, value often comes at the cost of quality.

I got a Wolf Windsor 10-watch box in black / purple from Massdrop for $70 and I’m happy with it. Maybe one day I’ll upgrade to a nice wooden box, but for now, it’s good enough for me.

The Mele & Co. cases are hit and miss. A common issue with them is that the cushions are too small so they don't hold the watch securely, and that the slots are a little narrow so fitting two 43mm side by side is a squeeze. However, they offer a lot of bang per buck and are good for the price as well as coming in lots of different sizes and finishes. If there's one you want in particular, see if you can buy it from Amazon and that way it can be returned if you don't like it.

The Wolf cases that I use also have small cushions, too small for bracelet watches set for my large wrist, so the watches flop about a bit. But no trouble putting two 46mm or larger watches side by side.

Agreed, my wrist is between 7.25” and 7.5” and my watches are very loose on the Wolf pillows. Annoying, but not a big deal, they are still well protected. Better than my previous habit of keeping my watches just laying loose in a dresser drawer

Not an issue with the cushions in my Dulwich Designs watch boxes. Perfectly well size to hold my watches, sized for 7.5" wrist.

Plus there is a decent gap between slots to accommodate large cases c. 46/47mm.

Massdrop are currently selling a Winder with storage for theee watches for $189 - picked up the two Winder variant in a past sale and it’s a solid bit of kit!

I also like the Louis Vuitton travel roll for general storage, and it’s also something that comes on longer holidays!

I've spent some time trying to physically look at some of the watch case suggestions.

I discounted the Windsor and Mele cases as the cushions were quite loose in both, allowing the watches to move about quite a lot.

In the end the best of the ones I managed to inspect were Jacob Jones and I've just bought one of their 8 watch cases.

The cushions are a nice and soft in the centre with rigid sides so the watch is very secure and they fit snugly in the case.

It was by no means an exhaustive search but I'm very pleased with it.

Plus it currently on offer at John Lewis for £63...

I have three of the Mele & Co 10 watch leather cases:

They do the job for me!

I've held off buying a watch case, always thought that a burglar would have the lot in one swoop. Definitely the way to show them though.
