I would say there is a pretty good chance. I asked customer service a couple of weeks ago if they had any upcoming sales before Christmas. He would not give me a direct answer, but said something to the effect of, I don't know, but there are some special occasions between now and then. Seems like he might have been cagily referring to Thanksgiving or Black Friday ;) Don't take this as gospel, just a guess on my part.

Having just received the latest vouchers (£50/£100 off £300/£500), I'd be surprised if any of the recent releases can be had at less than the price of using those vouchers.....but you never know.

In 2015 CWL were running a 15% off up to Christmas Eve and did an additional 10% for Black Friday

"For 5 days until midnight on Monday 30th November, we are offering you and yours the opportunity to save a further 10% savings"

Last year CWL were running £100 off all orders of £500 or more up to Christmas Eve and did;-

"We’re all aware of Black Friday, but Christopher Ward’s FIVE/15 promotion is far more generous, offering a full five days of saving.

From Thursday, November 24 to midnight on Monday, November 28, there‘s 15% off all watches across the Christopher Ward range*. "

This year we have the £50 / £100 codes up to Christmas Eve. So my guess will be 10%-15% off for Black Friday, perhaps on a limited range of watches.

If the codes stack with a percentage discount then this could be a bad time for my wallet. I hope there is a C1000 at the back of the cupboard too.

In my recollection CW have not allowed code stacking in recent promotions.

Looks like there is going to be a sale after all.. Excerpt from Cw blog about Black Friday

[quote]Finally, will Christopher Ward be doing a Black Friday promotion this year?

It’d be rude not to! Details revealed very soon.

while I believe Black Friday Sale is possible, I believe that the sale will focus on series that weren't on sale just 10 days ago. Or in reverse wording, series that were on sale just 10 days ago should not be getting a steeper discount rate than that previous sale. Otherwise, they are just kicking themselves in the foot and giving customers reasons to complain about.

Or I should say, otherwise I will be kicking myself in the foot for buying the new moonphase at an inferior discount :D

It's certainly the watch that has come closest to me breaking my own embargo since the FLE got canned but it's not going to happen.
