This is ridiculous to have to deal with this considering how much these watches cost. It isn't the lume dots that are unaligned, in my second picture, that white line below the lume dot is just a reflection.

Do I have to pay to ship this back out?
If you are in the UK you can request a returns bag which is pre paid by Christopher Ward,
If you are outside UK then you have to pay postage upfront, get a receipt and request a refund from Christopher Ward.

I'm not sure, but I don't think they fix them in the UK? May have to be returned to Switzerland? Other members would know more.

So now I'm caught I quite the dilemma. Do I send it to get repaired (if that's what you want to call it), risk them sending it back with nothing done to it? If they do decide to fix it, am I okay with waiting two months to get it back? Do I sell it on ebay and put some of the money towards a Oris Aquis? I'm sure nothing would be lazily slapped together on that watch. I know I'm venting, I'm so **** off that I noticed this and it's all I see now when I look at the watch. Just my luck that I get the dial put together by the guy who was rushing to go home for the day. Sometime I look at it and feel like my eyes are playing tricks on me but I swear something is just not right.

Whats the price difference to an Oris Aquis?

2 or 2.5 x the price you paid for the CW?

Are you going to be any happier with that?

That 7 o'clock misalignment would drive me absolutely insane. I would send it back.

Post a full face , high definition picture of the watch from the directly in front.
There are numerous members on here with the ability to superimpose alignment lines onto the dial to check if its all squared up properly.

This would be great if someone could do this for me, I'll post a few high def pictures with my girlfriends camera when I get home from work.

No, I will not be happy parting ways with this watch because I've already fallen in love with it! Who am I kidding, I won't be able to sell it off. I'm woried that if I'm not able to cope with the possible misalignment, they won't be able to help me since I had the old version of the dial.

Yet another issue, the minute hand aligns perfectly with the minute ticks in the outside, EXCEPT IN THE 9-12 O'CLOCK REGION. I can't believe how many faults this thing has, I'm honestly disappointed.

Maybe that isn't the best picture, the 7 on clock lume dot is shifted to the right and the 4 of clock lume dot is not aligned with the hour marker. The hour hand does not hit in the middle of the hour markers when the time hits the top of the hour and the minute hand does not align with the minute ticks between the 9-12 of clock area

I'm tired of making excuses for this screwed up watch I just dropped over $500 on. I'll look into hopefully sending it out to get fixed tomorrow

Ask for a replacement. A few in the recent sale might take your fancy instead and get them to swap it out.

Yeah I guess, the only issue is I can't deal with the new logo stuff. I feel like I'm in a race against the clock due to me receiving an old logo trident. I'm incredibly disappointed in this watch, it only took me a few days to notice its obvious faults. I just didn't expect this at all.

Not calling you crazy, but it looks good to me as well.

Edit: I do see it a little at 4 but that’s pretty minuscule. Not sure I would risk sending it away for them to say all is acceptable. Can’t really tell what’s going on at 7 by the photos.

Can anyone explain why the minute hand will align flawlessly with the minute ticks until it gets between the 9 and 12 oclock? It then sits behind the tick right when the minute starts

update
Amazing, I set the minute hand dead smack in the middle of one of the minute marks between the 9-12, had the second hand at the 12 and started the watch, minute hand was hitting directly on the minute ticks. I waited 20 minutes then checked the watch, low and behold the minute hand is now hitting slightly ahead of the minute ticks once it for past the twelve, I think my dial is completely and utterly screwed up.

Check out where my hour hand sits when the minute hand is dead smack on the 12
