I don't think I've ever seen a quartz movement without one, so I'd imagine so.

But improvement over the last C8 flyer. I prefer the aluminum I've the PVD as well, especially considering I already have the C8 PR in PVD. Very well done.

Great looks. This house style they've developed for the C8 is pretty impressive.

But save for the previous 38mm Flyers, which hands I hated, the C8s have always been much too big for me.

The video for the quartz shows this model but then also shows the automatic version.
Whereas the auto video shows only the automatic version.
On reflection I appreciate this is a pointless post !

No such thing as a pointless post. The Mods will read them, if no one else does! So, if, for no over reason than to keep the Mod Bods busy...

I have the previous C8 Flier but I think this new model looks so much nicer. Looks like I will be tempted again!

Very handsome. I really like this, even though I have no particular brief for pilot's watches.

I have the old C8 flyer and love it but the new one looks soooo much better. 42mm is about as big as I can pretend to get away with but it is a beauty.

Looks great and it seems like a more comfortable crown....

But the SIZE! Why not to make it 40-42, fitting average wrists?? The previous C8 was also either too small (38) or too big (44)!

The original C8 MkI and MkII, before the C8 Flyer, was 44mm only and sold well enough.

CWL's original Aviator, IIRC, was the 38mm C5A.

About 4-5 years ago, at the time of the C8 MkII, there was a C10. This had a smaller, 42mm, case in the style of the C8 with a dial in the style of the C5A.

Curiously, it did not sell well, whereas the 44mm C8 did. Work that one out.

I currently have a C10.
