Nice one Great minds think alike eh?

I did similar on my MoonWatch, it's surprising how the white stitching makes the white on the dial stand out.Thermexman wrote:
Looks great Rik. I got rid of my Nato for a similar look, with white stitching to pick out the white detail on the watch.

Contrasting stitching is always a winner! I wanted the Omega Snoopy edition look but without the Omega prices so I went for a Hadley Roma black kevlar band with white stitching for the SpeedyTheBeatles wrote: I did similar on my MoonWatch, it's surprising how the white stitching makes the white on the dial stand out.

Great choice, my son has the same model.mik wrote:So after some shenanigans where I saw these in the sale, added to my basket, realised it was showing available on NATO only, sent CS a message asking if I could swap the strap, and then missed the boat as they all sold out..... I managed to get one. (from CW direct as opposed to buying from any of the folks who bought in the sale and then put them on ebay at higher prices).
Tucked it away for a few months til my birthday, but very happy with it. Feels very nice, chronograph movement very smoothe, and the button action is reassuringly robust and "chunky". Tick tick tick....
Case back stamping very detailed. Some adhesive residue from the sticker still needing cleaned off.
And here it is with the C11, which is marking up now as I find I miss it after a few days off wearing either of my older (and much cheaper) watches, so it gets worn a lot (alternating between SuperEngII bracelet and C8 leather strap)

Congratulations
I do like the C1000 Typhoon but thought the lack of a running second hand would get to me but since I recently got a Jumping Hour I find I can live without it.

No running seconds and no date, were my biggest worries about this watch too but I have to say, having worn the Typhoon for three straight days, I've gotten used to it. I guess there are some sacrifices you can bear if you like the watch enough! I'm really enjoying it at the moment.MiniMpi wrote:Congratulations

I fear that the truth is 50% that I want to repeat your photos of this lovely watch to just remind me what a nice design it is.
The other 50% is down to me thinking that maybe I do prefer the earlier version as shown here:
And a further 50% wants to overcome those O*e*a *Peed*ast** photos
