Automatics and vintage watches

Post by Instructor »

As a newbie here please be kind lol but I have two questions.

1. Is it perfectly OK to leave an automatic watch weeks without use? (sometimes months)

2. I have 2 old watches one at least 35yrs old (Smiths) and an old Seiko bought for me mid 80's ......when is a watch classed as vintage?

Thanks in advance,

Dave
