500,000 posts

Post by Kip »

Today we celebrate a bit of a milestone in the life of the Christopher Ward Forum. As many of you are aware, we just turned 10 this past December.

And now.....

We have reached 500,000 posts!!!

It won't be too long and we will reach 10,000 members.

Thanks to all who have participated along the way. I really appreciate it and I know CWL does.

While perhaps not an earth shattering event, it is pretty good for a forum of our size I think. Especially since we are first and foremost a CW forum. We didn't even have an Other Brands section until we were about 2 years old.

I did a bit of research and came up with a bunch of stats I thought you might find interesting. Stats can be interpreted in several ways, but I find them quite positive overall.

Half a million...good going!

Interesting how the new members peaked in 2013 and are now tailing off.

Wow, half a million posts! But where are all the other Austrians?! Hello, is there anyone out there. At least 3% are German, so hello my dear neighbours! We should have a German speaking club!

An excellent milestone! Half a million and still, despite some small hiccups, no real dramas or toy throwing. Long may that last!

Interesting stats Kip.

I wonder why membership increased the most in 2012/2013, I wonder if that's when the wider watch public saw the best value to quality ratio?
